This page is designed to serve as a reminder to me for all the little things I know I should be doing in the classroom, but like most teachers, forget in my rush to get through the lesson objectives I have said that the class will have successfully completed and understood in 50 minutes.


Learning Strategies


An intersting article from the BBC.  Working in a mainly EAL school this got me thinking about my delivery of instructions.  It is also a good way of telling yourself not to get wound up - using the mantra "keep the delivery slow and deliberate'.

Behaviour

Here is one from Bill Rogers.  Note the slower pace of his voice and the quiet confidence in which he gives instructions (okay, it is in an artificial environment, but it is still something to aspire to!).
